Focus wall poster for all main focuses of the week.
Vocab Flip-Flap: Print these pages two sided. Students fold these pages “hot dog” ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion, they can look it up in the glossary at the back of
Roll a Spelling Word: Students will need a die for this activity. They roll the dice and practice writing their 12 main spelling words.
Color Me by High Frequency Word: Students color according to where the word is at.
High Flying Prefix over-: Cut and paste activity to
practice the prefix over.
Compare and Contrast Dex and Cleevis: Students use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast. They then create Dex and Cleevis.
If I were a Super Hero Writing and Activity:
This is an adorable writing and craft for students to do
about if they were a superhero.
High Flying Comma Drama List: This is a sheet so that
students can practice writing commas in a series.
Compare and Contrast Super Heroes: Students compare
and contrast two different superheroes in a
Spelling and High Frequency Practice:
This is helping practice spelling words and high frequency
words. They practice tracing, writing, and rainbow
writing the words.
Comprehension Tri-Fold: Print these pages two sided. Students fold like a brochure. They fill it out about the story, and goes along with understanding characters.
