Dia de los Muertos /Day of the Dead iPad activity! Easily integrate the free iPad apps Doodle Buddy and/or Pic Collage into your October, Halloween, or Day of the Dead plans.
Students will use the included passage to learn about Dia de los Muertos. Then they will scan the QR code to view a 16 page slideshow with real images of Sugar Skulls and Masks for inspiration.
Next students will use the included detailed direction sheets to take a selfie and decorate their selfie like a Sugar Skull on the free iPad app Doodle Buddy or Pic Collage.
This print it and pass out plan is ready-made for Spanish teachers, half-days, substitute teachers, center work or whole class multi-cultural holiday celebrations.

You will need the free app Doodle Buddy, Pic Collage or Pic Collage Kids. Clickable QR codes for each iTunes listing is included. You will also need a QR reader app to scan the included QR code. The slides are hosted on my private Google Drive, which is not typically blocked by districts.
