Día de los Muertos Banderines Spanish Banners is a quick, easy and purposeful activity to ease your novice learners to create a craft to introduce the perspective of remembering those who have passed away. We created 4 different of banners, copied slides 5-8 on colorful paper and instructed our students to choose one to complete. Students are given the choice to participate as much as they want, to make it personal, or not, and to make use of descriptive adjectives.
As students finish, they fold their page back along the fold lines and staple their creation to a rope for this purpose. All the banners strung together look festive and it gives students an opportunity to think of someone else. You can also choose to use them to display on a wall. The individual banners make great conversations you can overhear when students bring their friends to see what was made!
Banderines Banners can be used as a stand alone product to incorporate in your English and/or Spanish speaker classroom, as a companion product for a Día de los Muertos activity you already have, or bundled to the Carousel Activity product in our store as Bundle!
