Here is your chance to educate your students on the cultural, historical, and religious significance of El Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), one of the most misunderstood holidays around the world. Many people believe it’s just “Mexican Halloween.” Through activities, games, PowerPoints, videos, and research, they will begin to develop a deeper meaning of the celebration and learn some of the basic practices of the festivity. The activities and PowerPoints in this bundle are designed to provide an enriching experience on the cultural, religious, and historical significance of this celebration as they begin to discover a deeper meaning of the celebration. Students will think about the differences and similarities between Halloween, Memorial Day and Los Días de Los Muertos
