We all know Lady Macbeth went a little crazy in the second half of Macbeth. Is it possible, however, that part of her craziness was the fault of an underlying mental disorder? This project requires students to think like a doctor and diagnose Lady Macbeth with a mental illness. They must also defend their diagnosis with symptoms and textual evidence from the play.
