### Description

A note to the teacher

This resource is best used after teaching students how to factor polynomials. Factoring methods include: a=1, a>1, GCF, a is negative, difference of 2 squares, grouping 4 terms, and sum and difference of cubes.

Students are assigned letter and go around the room and find the polynomials with those letters. They will play doctor and diagnose the polynomial with the appropriate treatment (aka method of factoring).

This resource includes:

This activity comes in two levels:

Level one: includes a guided prescription pad and a problem set that does not include factoring with 4 terms and the sum and difference of cubes

Level 2: includes a non-guided prescription pad and a problem set that DOES include factoring with 4 terms and the sum and difference of cubes
