These 12 color-coded task cards give students the opportunity to practice applying the Pythagorean Theorem to determine unknown side lengths (diagonals) in three dimensions. Great to use in math centers!
The color-coding is something I found extremely helpful for my students to be able to visualize how to do this with 3D figures. Task cards have a mixture of story problems and 3D figures (rectangular prisms & cylinders). Also included are a student recording sheet and a teacher answer key!
