This unit starts with a bonus free "FOUR types of sentences" unit which is key when teaching the said word last (? comma or !). There is enough material here to teach a long way towards mastery.
Daily work with D.O.L. (if yours is good) or use my "editing" (a very thorough version of a teacher created "D.O.L." curriculum that covers all CA state standards to help students self perfect their own writing conventions.
Note: That, of course, was a blatant plug for a soon-to-be-available but, alas, not until next year, product (too late to start it this year) which helps provide the weekly practice needed for dialog skills.
Hopefully you have your own since dialog is complicated enough for adults much less primary!
As you can see in the thumbnails the unit includes a test.
Since it is all free to download there is no point in wasting more time describing it here. Enjoy! :)
