This resource is a helpful tool to help organize and inspire your students to begin writing their own diamante poems.
After teaching and reviewing the structure and samples of the diamante poem, give students time to write their own poems. Rough draft and final draft pages are provided for both one-item and two-items diamante poems. Students can write a diamante poem based on the current unit of study in any subject area.
Once final drafts are completed, poems can be displayed on a bulletin board or compiled into a class or student book.
