I created this dichotomous key in order to catch the attention of some of the athletes in my Biology class. Students identify the mascots of the ACC using a dichotomous key. Once finished they identify the scientific name and common name of the organism. On page three they create their own dichotomous key using six different sports related items. Page four is a question sheet where they define terms and answer questions pertaining to dichotomous keys and classification. The last page is an answer key for the teacher.
