Product Description
Your students won’t know why you are having them answer questions and punch holes in cards, until you demonstrate what they’ve created: a dichotomous key that can be used to identify each of them! This is similar to the familiar card trick in which the magician somehow finds your card from the deck. And it has a similar effect on students!

This demonstration is intended as an introduction to lessons on using or writing dichotomous keys.

It will take about 25 - 30 minutes.

This is as low prep as something this fun could possibly be!

This is all you need:

Student copies of the cards (provided)
Individual Hole Punches (to share)
A probe or if you don't have a probe, use a skewer.
