This math packet is great for centers or small groups- it would even be a great for back to school activity!
1. Print copies of the addition and subtraction activity pages based on the skills that you are working on with your class (includes both chevron + b/w versions).
-------->You could even laminate multiple copies of the activity page to create a long-lasting math center.
2. Give each student working on the activity 2 dice and let them practice adding and subtracting!
3. Also included are 5 addition “Roll, Add, and Bump!” Game cards. To play:
*Have students form pairs.
*Each pair has 2 dice, and a set of markers for each student (could use buttons, cubes, etc.)
*Students take turn rolling the dice.
*Students add the sum of two dice- for example if they roll a 4 and 6, they’d put their marker on the 10.
*If the other student then rolls, and gets a sum of 10, they “bump” the partner’s marker off and replace it with their own.
*Goal is to cover the game board with one’s own markers.
