Part Whole Addition Practice: Students roll a die and put a corresponding number of objects in the first circle. They do the same for the second circle. They bring both groups of objects together into the ‘whole’ section on the bottom of the page. They add up the total. Three different boards are included. Board A is for students who are focusing on counting and adding the objects. Board B gives them the framework to write the equation for their problem at the bottom. Board C gives them a place to write the equation with less support and uses more vocabulary for them to use as they explain their work to a partner.
