This is a note sheet to teach factoring the Difference of Squares. It also addresses the Sum of Squares.
The file includes a page that is formatted to fit perfectly within an interactive student notebook (composition book). The page can be used as a flat insert or folded in half as a foldable.
I've used this resource many times in my classroom and students enjoy having part of it written "upside down" because they like rotating their notebooks to access the information. I'd suggest writing on it before hooking it into the notebooks.
The file also includes a picture of my notes (when it was all handwritten).

A.SSE.2 - Use the structure of an expression to identify ways to rewrite it.
