There are 24 problems related to the difference of squares and sum of squares. Students are asked to identify whether the problem involves a difference or not. Additionally, students are asked for the expressions that are being squared in each case.
Six of the problems ask students to first find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) prior to factoring using the Difference of Squares.
This assignment works well with the Difference of Squares Interactive Student Notebook page that I have uploaded as well.
