This game can be used to reinforce the concept that numbers can be shown in many different ways: in standard form, expanded form, word form, and base-ten format.
The object of this game is to turn over a matching set of numbers that are shown in two different ways (ex: "43" matches with "forty-three"). It can be used by individual students, pairs, small groups, or whole class. There are directions for differentiating, and there is a recording sheet included as well. Enjoy!
