In this fun and creative booklet, students pick a topic and then compare and contrast based on the topic they picked!
This writing assignment focuses on the process of comparing and contrasting by guiding students through the process step by step using Venn Diagrams to organize information. Students write a four paragraph essay about their topic, with an introductory paragraph, two body paragraphs (one to compare and one to contrast) and a concluding paragraph.
Booklet includes writing assignment outline, rubric, graphic organizers, compare and contrast practice worksheets, compare and contrast 'buzz' words, and sentence structure outline for students to use before drafting.
