These two quick assessments both cover representing arrays as repeated addition equations. They are a great way to quickly check student understanding of representing arrays using repeated addition.
The first assessment shows different arrays and requires students to write an equation representing each array with repeated addition. The second assessment covers the same concept, but provides students multiple choice answers to choose from, so they do not have to generate the equation themselves.
These assessments would be great to use with different students on the same day, or to use on different days as students become more confident with writing their own equations.
Each assessment is one page long and can be printed in color or grayscale. Both assessment include answer keys for quick and easy checking.
