This file contains 2 versions of addition: (1) using the common core base ten representation and (2) using the old standards of number representation. Both worksheets have 20 problems.
The common core version focuses on interpreting base ten rods. After the students write the models in number form, they are to then add the numbers. The number version has the numbers already written out for the students to add. After they solve all the problems, they will use the answers to color a picture of a teddy bear.
This is not a beginning base ten addition worksheet - the addends are sometimes in the hundreds and some of the problems require "carrying the 1."
Great for a math center, homework, or morning work.
