Boggle is a great independent game for early finishers or for a literacy center! In my classroom, I set it up as an interactive bulletin board and I change the letters out each week. I also give my first graders the option to work on it during Daily Five as Word Word.
This product is differentiated to fit the needs of all learners. It includes the 26 letters of the alphabet in black & white, as well as extra vowels highlighted in 5 different colors to make them stand out! These colors are yellow, blue, pink, green, and purple. I like to do this for my firsties to remind them that every word must have at least one vowel in it! It also helps them differentiate between the lowercase i and l.
Also included are 4 different sheets for student use: a blank boggle sheet, one with written directions, one with a scoring key, as well as one with written directions AND a scoring key. My high flyers really enjoy challenging themselves by keeping score! It's also a great way to bring some addition practice in as well!
