This document has includes 20 double digit multiplication problems for the students to practice. There are 2 versions of these 20 problems - one has the problems written explicitly and the other has the questions written in word problem form. The word problems are aligned to the common core, and the 2 worksheets make it easy to differentiate your instruction in your class. When the students have solved all 20 problems, they use the answers to color a picture of a desert landscape. This is a great way to keep the students motivated.
This activity is great for a math center, homework, or even a substitute teacher.
