Calculating Start Time/ End Time/ Elapsed Time | Analog Clock/ Word Problems | Detailed Answer Key | 4 Levels of Difficulty | Printable/ Digital Resource/ Google Slide | Self-learning/ Class Activity

It's time to teach kids how to calculate elapsed time⏰. Here is a set of colorful task cards to help your teaching and for students to self-learning independently. The task cards provide realistic scenarios for word problems and consolidate students' conceptual grasp of time interval.

The printable package (PDF files) includes a record sheet, a checklist card of the problems and answers, a set of task cards designed for self-study, and another set for guided-learning. You can find 38 problems with 4 levels of difficulty for both story problems and non-story ones, which require students to calculate start time, end time or elapsed time. A detailed explanation with T-chart method of every problem is also included in the answer key. Laminating the printable task cards is recommended, as to let your kids draw on the analog clocks and to make the cards durable!

For no-prep Google Slides, there are 76 slides, a slide of problem followed by a slide of answer, which you can rearrange the sequence according to you plan. You may project it in class to practice as an activity, or share it to students via Google Classroom or e-mail. *Please note that you may NOT share it to the public or upload it to where could be publicly found and downloaded.
