These file folder games were designed for use in my own 4th grade classroom where I have a huge variance in readiness levels in math. I have a symbol system for grouping my students. One symbol represents students who are working below grade level and the game is designed to focus in directly on the skill. Another symbol represents students who are working at grade level, and provides a little challenge so students are working at their zone of proximal development. A third symbol represents my above grade level students and provides them with critical thinking challenges in addition to practicing the math skill.
There are three versions of each game so every student in your classroom can work at their level!
Even though these games were designed for use in a 4th grade classroom, because they are differentiated, they can be used in grades 3 – 6. The games are “Factor Frenzy”, “Multiple Mayhem”, and “Prime, Composite, & Square Number BINGO”. Thank you for your purchase!
