PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a fun game for students to practice their coins. Any student can begin the game by reading their card aloud. The person who has the next correct amount of cents reads their card and so on until the game is finished. The game is differentiated so that teachers may give out “easy” coin additions such as two pennies to the lower level learners, and harder cards to the higher level learners. There are 21 cards in all and you can start with any of the cards. The game may be played as a whole class, or during math centers by having students split up the cards. If a student is unsure of the amount of cents, they can read the coins aloud and have their group help them figure out the correct number of cents. As a teacher, you may want to laminate the cards so you can reuse them over and over, even save them for next year!
