Poetry presents a wonderful opportunity for differentiated learning! This project option gives students nine different creative options for students to create or analyze poetry. Some of these options include writing certain types of poems, creating art to represent or pair with poems, creating music to pair with poems, and creating a found poem out of other literature or written words. I offer this project option in place of an analytical unit test, but it could be the sole assessment in the class as well. The file includes the tic tac toe document and a powerpoint with explanations and examples for some options.
