Product Description
As teachers, one of the most important aspects of our job is making sure each and every one of our students is challenged. With the million other things teachers must do, differentiation is often easier said than done. That's when I decided to create "Math with Meaning". In each "Math with Meaning" packet, you will find meaningful, challenging and differentiated activities that are aligned to the Common Core and created with teachers and students in mind. Each math activity in this packet comes with two versions that vary by difficulty. Both versions share the same recording sheet, which eliminates clutter and confusion for teacher and student alike. Additionally, each activity comes with a corresponding "I can" and directions page.

To prepare the activities, simply print and laminate. You can choose to organize them however is best for you. In my class, I place garage sale colored stickers on the back of each card. Pink corresponds to the easier level and green to the more difficult. That way, my students can keep track of where each center goes, without knowing which level is more difficult.

The skills addressed in this packet include:
base 10
standard vs. expanded form
number order
missing addend
fact fluency

If you have purchased my packet, Catch Me If You Can, please do NOT purchase this packet. The same math activities are included in each.

Happy teaching!
