I hope this money packet makes your life a bit easier when planning your money unit.
This packet has 19 pages of money printables to use in with your first or second graders!
Students are able to practice counting money, making the same amount of money using different coins, making a dollar in different ways, and word problems.
I have organized this packet starting with my “Mission Possible” questions. Each day I begin my math block with two questions while playing the Mission Impossible theme song, except we call it Mission Possible because in my class nothing is impossible! After students try these problems on their own we begin our math rotations. The worksheets here are used either for independent work or with the teacher. The independent work is differentiated, you can tell the levels by the small letter in the top left hand corner (an o is on level and an a is above), if there is not a letter the practice is for all levels.
If you have any questions about how I organize my math rotations please let me know and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
