The possibilities are endless for these differentiated non-fiction note taking worksheets...silent/independent reading, a guided reading group activity, literacy center, reading homework response, etc. There are 2 levels in order to meet the wide range of ability levels in your classroom.
Level 1- Students will record the title, author, and topic of the book. They will record 2 facts that they learned from the book and something they are still wondering about the topic. Sentence starters are provided as well as a box for ending punctuation.
Level 2- Students will record the title of the book. They will also write 3 facts that they learned from the book, 2 questions that they still have about the topic, and the most interesting thing about the topic.
