Number of the Day Packet for Intermediate Grades – Differentiated for All Learners is designed for students in grades 4 through 6 at many stages of learning.
My philosophy on teaching applies to all learners: if kids can’t learn the way we teach, we must teach them the way they learn. It influences everything I do in my classroom.
Use this Number of the Day Packet for Intermediate Grades for a quick daily review of a variety of number concepts with which students need to become proficient. These pages can be used for numbers ranging from three- to seven-digits, depending on the needs of your students.
The set includes 220 pages of a variety of skills for students to explore, at three separate levels. Each level includes at least 15 variations with 6-7 skills on each page, with modified pages for students with handwriting needs. Every level has blank pages for you to add appropriate numbers for your students, as well as pages complete with numbers, ready for use.
Levels are identified for you by the number of stars in the upper left- and lower right-hand corners, but are otherwise indistinguishable so that students are not made aware of the differences in levels. Level one page layouts appear identical in difficulty to level two and level three.
The packet is free of busy distractions, like clip art and hard-to-read fonts. Special needs students are not the only ones who benefit from a clutter-free paper!
Skills on every page in all three levels include:
Standard (word) form
Skill variations among all three levels include:
