This download includes 3 social media project instruction sheets: Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat. Facebook should be assigned to higher achieving students, Snapchat should be assigned to lower achieving students, and Twitter is for the students in the middle. Students will be creating a Facebook profile, a collection of tweets, or a Snapchat story for a person in history. Each handout includes the link to the web tool that will be used, instructions for saving and turning in their projects, a scoring section, and a research checklist to guide students in their research before beginning the project. These are Word documents so feel free to edit to suit your needs. I used this when I had about one week at the end of the school year to study the 1920s with a group of 10th graders. It's a relevant project that can really encourage students to exercise their creativity.
The handouts don't look formatted correctly in the thumbnails on this website, but they should be correct when you download them.
