The world of education can often feel like a juggling act, especially trying to fit in research based methods for social and emotional instruction.
Research has shown just how important social and emotional skills are in finding success in life, so making time to teach these skills is so important, but how?
The goal of this product is to help you to balance and accomplish it all!
Each of my Differentiated Social Emotional Learning products focuses on teaching social/emotional, reading comprehension, and text dependent analysis skills. This is all accomplished using one reading passage in order to support reading fluency at various levels.
The way that you use this pack can be adapted to your students’ needs, but I have provided an optional weekly format within the product.
This particular story focuses on the SEL Skill of taking responsibility for our actions, and the reading comprehension skill of identifying the conflict in a story.
This is the FOURTH in a series of MANY IN THE MAKING!
