Differentiated Spelling Lists for Guided Reading Level D

Differentiated Spelling Lists for Guided Reading Level D
Product Description
I went through the list of spelling words from Jan Richardson's Next Step to Guided Reading, and made spelling lists by guided reading level. Then I grouped them by phonics skills. Each list has 10 words. Teachers can just copy and paste the ones that they need into a new document, print, and cut out the strips. I also made it into a Word document, so teachers can edit the lists with their favorite words or fonts.
Within each document, teachers may want to skip around. For instance, on the Level H list, -ay words come first and -ow words are last. I'm still new to Jan Richardson, so that is not necessarily the order that these skills should be taught in. I just typed the lists as the patterns occurred to me. I usually try to look for common sounds in my guided reading books, and then I chose my spelling lists. I will say that these lists have really improved my kids' spelling scores.
