Differentiated instruction at its best!
This differentiated coloring activity has 2 worksheets in one! One worksheet has 20 subtraction problems that do not require borrowing, while the second worksheet has 20 subtraction problems that do require borrowing. While the problems are at different levels of difficulty, the answers to both worksheets are exactly the same. When the students get their answers, they then use their answers to color a picture. This is a very easy and effective way to differentiate your lessons to meet the needs of your students. Because both worksheets have the same final product, you won't have students saying, "I want to do what they're doing."
Perfect for a math center, homework, classwork, or for when students finish early.
