The possibilities are endless for these differentiated text feature worksheets...silent/independent reading, a guided reading group activity, literacy center, reading homework response, etc. There are 2 levels in order to meet the wide range of ability levels in your classroom.
Level 1- students will record the title, author, and topic of the text. Students will locate various text features as they read and record the page numbers where they found them. Visual examples are provided for each text feature on the worksheet.
Level 2- students will record the title, author, and topic of the text. Students will locate various text features as they read, record the page numbers where they found them, and explain why the author included them in the text.
