This activity comes with:
• 9 Turkeys sorting mats with different ending sounds
• 4-6 Pilgrim hats for each ending sound with a picture
• Student friendly direction card
• Student recording sheet
This is an ending sound sorting activity that can be easily differentiated. Ways to differentiate:
1.) Decide on the number of mats and corresponding hats that the students will sort from
2.) Decide which hats you will have students sort. Most hats are CVC words, some of the hats are two syllable words.
3.) Decide which ending sounds students will sort ( according to common core /l/ & /r/ are considered next steps)
