Product Description
Activity 1: Print recording sheet. You can either project veterans or print and cut them apart. Students find the veteran, look at the number, and then fill in ten frames to match the number next to the same veteran on the recording sheet. The different colors are for differentiation. Each color is a different level of difficulty. They are listed easiest to hardest.
Activity 2: Print recording sheet. You can project the veterans or print them and cut them apart. Students find the matching veteran, look at how many tens there are and write the number on the line. Then they look at how many ones there are and write it on the line next to the ones. Finally, they write the whole number on the last line. The different colored base ten blocks represent different levels of difficulty.
** If cards are used, for additional practice, students can attempt to put them in order from least to greatest. They can do the numerals or the base ten blocks.
