This is an instructions/score sheet for a student-created propaganda poster for WWI. Students have two options: they can create an original propaganda poster, or they can replicate a poster they find online and will automatically be deducted 5 points from the overall score.
The instructions direct students to conduct a Google images search for the assigned phrase. Ideas for assigned phrases to give students includes: women propaganda WWI, children propaganda WWI, war bonds WWI, food propaganda WWI, and US enlist WWI.
This is a Word document so feel free to edit to suit your needs. The size of the instructions allows you to copy and paste them on the bottom half of the page so you can print two sets of instructions on one page.
When I used this with my 10th grade history classes, I hung a select number of posters (the neater and/or more creative posters) around the room. We did a gallery walk and students voted for their favorite poster.
