This packet has six different options for writing papers you can give to your students after Winter Break! (and if you'll be doing some New Years writing, you might also want to check out my BUNDLED pack of both of these writing pages and save money!)
Choose the one or two that works best for your class or even choose several to offer your kids options (they love this!)! All papers have the same border and heading, but the spacing, lines, and other details vary.
Here's what's included:
* no lines
* 4 wide-spaced lines and room for a picture
* 6 wide-spaced lines and no picture space
* 8 thinner lines and room for a picture
* 12 thinner lines and no picture space
* 10 thinner lines and a tree map to guide their writing (topics include what I saw, where I went, and what I enjoyed)
This definitely has something for everyone and is a sweet and simple way to differentiate your kid's writing experience and hear about what happened over break!
More ideas: These would be fun to share orally after writing, pop together into a class book, use to create an iMovie (kids could read what they wrote), display in the hall (maybe mat it on some blue construction paper?), or combine with a fun little winter craftivity (specific craft not included, but just pinterest it and go wild or pull something from your files and you're set). The possibilities are endless... as simple or fancy as you desire! :)
Happy writing! Hope YOU had a peaceful, fun break, teachers!! And I hope this writing project makes your transition back to class a little bit easier. Blessing on your 2013!
