This worksheet is modified from the middle school reading curriculum. It has five sentences with Boardmaker picture clues. Students are to cut the strip off of the bottom and place the correct prefix or suffix in the box, according to what the sentence says. Then students write the new word with prefix or suffix added on the line.
Boardmaker pictures are used to simplify the words for students with special needs.
This is excellent for special education students who require an alternate or modified curriculum. It is also an excellent worksheet for general education students in Pre-K through possibly grade 2.
