This product consists of a set of 9 PowerPoint slides to print and use for games or activities when teaching about the digestive system in a science or health class. Each slide describes one stage of the digestive process.
How to use:
Idea #1: Print one slide per page. Have 9 volunteers line up across the front of the classroom. Randomly give each volunteer one slide to hold. The rest of the class then verbally directs the volunteers where to move so that they are lined up in order of the process.
Idea #2: Divide the class into groups. Print one slide per page, and give each group a complete set of 9 slides in random order. Have groups race to lay out the pages in the correct order.
Idea #3: Print several slides per page. Divide the class into groups, and give each group a complete set of 9 slides. Have each group cut out the slides and glue them to poster board, then illustrate the poster to show the digestive process.
Note: Slides in presentation are in the correct order, so you can print all the slides on one or two pages to use as an answer key.
