With Digging For Letters: A Language Arts Activity for Elementary Students, your students will have the chance to become paleontologists for the day! As paleontologists dig for dinosaur bones, your students will be digging for letter "bones" instead. With this activity, your students will be able to learn and identify both lowercase and uppercase letters and their sounds while using the sense of touch in their discovery of the alphabet. A very interactive lesson to be used either in a language arts or science center or as a whole class assignment!
