We all know students are drawn to technology! This fun resource will allow your students to practice their phonemic schools digitally with Google Slides. This is a perfect way to engage your students, assess their understanding and do it all PAPERLESS! If you school is going 1:1, this will be a perfect addition with activities you can use in your own classroom. In this bundle you will receive 4 different product lines. Turtle out the Word, Build a Word, Clip Activities, and Word Sorts. All of these activities I use over an entire year. The skills that are covered are short vowels, cvc words, cvcc words, cvce words, initial sounds, final consonant sounds, blends, digraphs, diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, word endings, and long vowel teams. There are 333 different assignments you can send to your students through email or Google Classroom. By purchasing this bundle you will receive a 25% discount. In addition, you will have an all access pass to my Phonemic Digital File. When I add more, it will automatically be yours too.
Turtle out the Word is a great way to work on phoneme segmentation. Students say the word slowly like a turtle and then drag the correct picture into the box that matches the word. I have 48 assignments in this bundle.
Build a Word is great way to practice spelling specific word patterns. Students look at a picture. In the given boxes, they drag and drop the letters to spell out the word.
Clip Activities focus specifically on the phonemic skill addressed in the assignment. Students look at a picture. They decide which sound is being used in the picture and drag a clip to cover that sound.
Digital Word Sorts allows students to look at the word pattern. Once they identify which column the word belongs in, they drag it to that column. Then they can cover the phonemic pattern by dragging a yellow box around it.
I use these during my literacy rotations. The students are given the assignment in Google Classroom. When they get to this rotation, they simply open it up and begin working. When they are finished, they turn it in digitally.
You could also project these activities on an Interactive Board as well to complete with the whole class. These activities work on drag and drop, and require typing numbers for some too. You will need access to a keyboard if using an interactive board.
