Your trapped inside the school over the weekend! Solve the clues so you can get out and go home before it’s to late!
This digital breakout box is made using tools in the G Suite, but you do not need a google login to access it. This game is designed for 3rd and 4th graders focusing on problem solving specifically with addition, subtraction and multiplication problems.
This game will work best in small group settings so students can work together. You can have each student on a device, or a pair of students to one device, or have it as a center it technology is really limited.
"Emily has $6 in her piggy bank. She needs $60 to get a new video game. Her mother said she will pay her $6 a week to rake the yard. How many weeks will she have to rake the yard to have enough money for her new video game?"
"At the town carnival Billy rode the Ferris wheel seven times and the bumper cars three times. If each ride cost five tickets, how many tickets did he use?"
Students also find a teach supply list where they need to determine how much money the teacher spent and how much she has left.
There is also a color lock where the clue is hidden in a fake text message between two students(is blue pen, yellow poster...)
Students have 45 minutes to breakout!
After they have broken out, be sure to celebrate by taking their picture with the sign!
There is a link for product after you download it.
