Description
A St. Patrick's Day digital breakout for grades 3-5. Your teacher gave you four riddles to solve, but you are not having any luck. Lucky for you, Patty is here to help. Solve each clue to unlock the locks.

**Please be sure that your IT does not block Google Links that have a shared setting of "anyone with a link" if you plan to use this resource.** If this is the case, you will need to make a copy of the clues and insert the new link into the slides. If you need assistance, please reach out to me at shenvalleyveganteacher@gmail.com.
I have included a NO PREP version of Patty to the Rescue - Digital Breakout.
The NO PREP version is ready to go, just "make a copy" for each student and then share (Google Classroom works best! If you do not use Google Classroom, you will need to be able to share the link with your students e.g. Seesaw, a class webpage, Wakelet, QR Code, etc...).

This Digital Breakout Includes:
Student Google Slides w/ locks
Answer Key and Clues
Lock 1 - Students will determine the missing letters to spell a word.
Lock 2 - Students will solve fifteen math equations using +, -, x and /.
Lock 3 - Students will drag and drop the correct cipher to determine the correct 5 digit number lock.
Lock 4 - Students will unscramble the letters to spell a word.
FAQ:
1. Should I use present mode? No, students need access to the entire slide deck.
2. Where do I find the clues? Students should click on the "Click HERE for the clue," then click on the long BLUE URL. Some clues "force" students to make a copy. This allows them to manipulate the resource. Once the clue is solved, students will need to return to the original slide deck. (Be assured that students catch on quickly)
3. Where do students click "submit?" Students click "Click HERE or Click HERE to unlock the lock," then click on the BLUE URL to "breakout"
Each slide contains one link to the clue and one link to the lock. Just share with your students in Google Classroom, ensuring to select "make a copy" for each student.
