Comparisons are made to well-known superheroes and their powers that can be used to help and protect others. Students learn about the 9 elements of digital citizenship, including online commerce, cyberbullying, and social media use. Students explore the options they have for reactions do different digital citizenship situations. Based on these decisions, students create a comic strip in the Comic Life App, illustrating their reaction/solution to the problem. Then, they can present to the class.
This activity was designed for use on iPads or in a computer lab, utilizing the Comic Life App. However, it could also easily be adapted to suit a paper-and-pencil setting.
