Digital Citizenship is defined as "the proper and correct actions that should be taken by those using digital technology." With the implementation of Common Core Standards, teachers are required to use digital technology as a component of their teaching. This presentation addresses nine elements of Digital Citizenship. For each element, there is a definition, a real-world scenario, an example of both and appropriate and inappropriate response to the scenario, and a final "what could make a difference" conversation-starter.. The elements covered are:
Digital Rights and Responsibilities
Digital Health and Wellness
This 54-slide presentation is appropriate for both in-service and pre-service teachers.
