Bald Eagle digital Escape Room for Distance Learning.  Students will love reading informational text about bald eagles and the fun drag and drop slides to solve the clues and Escape. This bald eagle escape room has five breakout codes, each with interactive slides and reading passages on the bald eagle. This resource is created in Google Slides and Google Forms. Works great for Google Classroom!  Great for environmental reading and conservation.

Bald eagles are our national symbol and this resource includes a fun story about how Benjamin Franklin wanted a different bird, the wild turkey!  Students will learn about bald eagle nest building, raising chicks, hunting behavior, adaptations, habitat, range, and conservation efforts. Bald eagles made a huge recovery from near extinction over the last 40 years and students will learn about what caused the decline and how they have recovered.

This resource includes text-dependent questions that encourage students to look back at the text to find the answers.  Another skill for reading informational text is reading the questions before the text and this escape room is set up to do this.

The reading passages on bald eagles are rich with science information and academic vocabulary. Perfect for distance learning! Student directions are included with pictures and step-by-step guidance that you can send to them along with the link to the escape room.  Easy to share by email or Google Classroom for distance learning, but can also be used as independent work time for F2F classes. Your students will need access to Google to use this resource. Please make sure your district does not restrict access to Google before purchasing.
