Digital Project for Google Slides or printable

Use this digital or printable independent fiction book project to practice and assess genre, summarizing, plot, cause and effect, making inferences and drawing conclusions, theme, author's purpose, and character traits.

Graphic organizers could even be used individually as interactive notebook pages!

**** Differrentiated ****

Each skill includes one blank page to allow for student creativity for your higher students and one page with a graphic organizer for your students who need more direction.

I use this project as a digital PBA. My students complete the set of pages they are assigned in my Google Classroom based on ANY BOOK THEY CHOOSE in GetEpic! (a free to teacher's ebook resource). My students take snapshots and highlight evidence on the pages of the books they choose and then use Screencastify to present their projects and post them to SeeSaw to share with me and the rest of the class. Students are complete engaged in learning, practice 21st Century Skills, and are given a chance to think critically and creatively. This is a favorite in my class.
