Digital Frog Activities - Boom, Seesaw, & Google Slides - Distance Learning

This set includes three activities all about frogs that are pre-loaded into three different digital learning platforms. Each activity includes a short nonfiction ebook (read-aloud) followed by interactive comprehension activities. These frog readers and activities are an engaging addition to a life cycles unit, and can be used in the classroom or at home!

The three frog topics are: "Fun Frog Facts," "How Frogs Grow," and "Frogs Are Amphibians."

What You'll Get:

Fun Frog Facts: This activity includes a short informational e-book with interesting facts about frogs followed by three drag and drop activities. The book is in video form in Seesaw and Google Slides and is in slide form in Boom Learning. The interactive activities include a matching activity with a focus on the different types of feet frogs can have, a toad puzzle with a sentence to read or listen to, and a frog puzzle with a sentence to read or listen to.

How Frogs Grow: This activity includes a short nonfiction e-book about the life cycle of frogs. After students listen to the book, they will complete three interactive activities: a simple sequencing drag-and-drop slide, a life cycle puzzle, and a drag and drop "complete the life cycle" activity.

Frogs Are Amphibians: This activity includes an informational e-book about amphibians with a focus on frogs. Following the book are three interactive slides with comprehension activities. In the first activity, students complete a puzzle highlighting the amphibians mentioned in the book/video. The second activity is a sorting chart (amphibians vs. non-amphibians), and the final activity has students drag attributes to complete an amphibians graphic organizer.

All activities include audio directions.

The Seesaw versions of each of the activities also contain an open-ended drawing slide at the end where students draw based on a simple prompt and use the recording feature to tell about their picture.
