Magazine Templates

Magazine templates are a simple and wonderful way for younger students to show what they learned while also using technology. I developed these after I became frustrated with other online versions that were too complicated for my younger students.

The templates are PowerPoint templates which allow students to simply click and type. The text automatically resizes to the size of the text box. Also fonts and colors are already formatted in the boxes. You can have students use the formatted version or if you are more adventurous show them how to change the font, color, or size.

You can see completed versions of ones my 2nd grade students did with James Oglethorpe at the beginning of the year.

James Oglethorpe Magazine Covers

Each template pack includes three different PowerPoint versions for your students to type their information.

When students are done save them as a JPEG and they are easy to load on a webpage, just like my James Oglethorpe examples.

You can also delete the text boxes and have students hand write their information.

Check out my store for other magazine covers.

Note: File is a zipped folder to allow all three templates to be included in the pack. After you download the file simply right click on the folder and select Extract All.
